Today is perhaps the most important moment in time for bringing science and technology together through entrepreneurship – we know more scientifically than we ever have, and new knowledge is being added daily. How can entrepreneurs connect with experts in science and technology to form meaningful, and potentially profitable, partnerships? Those of us making novel discoveries at universities would like to see our discoveries used for the benefit of society. This panel discussion and meet-up will explore the best way to do that with insights from professionals who have “been there and done that”. While scientists pursue science for the sheer importance of discovery, it is through commerce that society places value on ideas that solve problems.
